Introducing the “The Jet Pulverizer Expert Group”, including our President, Vice President and Chief Engineer. With the support of our processing and engineering staff, we come to you with a total of 112 years of experience in the fine-grinding business.
Ed Fay (President): Service: U.S. Air Force. Jet Pulverizer, 1970. Earned a business degree at Drexel University and son of founder. Ed is thoroughly entrenched in the day-to-day operations and is the first stop for new applications and process development. Over the years he has developed an intuitive and creative ability for solving difficult process challenges.
William Henry (Vice President): Service: U.S. Navy. Jet Pulverizer, 1969. Business focus is the design and manufacturing of the Micron-Master® Jet Pulverizer, management of engineering, plus custom grinding process support. Inventor of many jet milling innovations such as the volute style mill charging system and the new LiquaJet® processing system. Earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, graduating with honors.
Jeffrey Conn, PE (Chief Engineer): Started in 2000. Business focus is sales and engineering, Earned a BSME from Penn State University. Previously, Market Development Manager for Kennametal Inc. and Sales Engineer for Saint-Gobain Industrial Ceramics. Expert in material solutions for abrasive wear and corrosion, high performance ceramics, and compressed air systems.
Established in 1946, The Jet Pulverizer Co. is the manufacturer of the Micron-Master® precision jet mill and custom toll processor (FDA cGMP and ISO 9001 registered facility), specializing in size reduction of dry powders in the range of 0.25 to 44 microns. We have a world-wide customer base, providing a broad range of processing solutions to the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic, chemical, pigment and ceramic industries, as well as many other high-quality, high-purity industries. In 2008, we launched the LiquaJet® LLC company that utilizes a special jet milling technology for the size reduction of plastics and polymers to <30 micron average.
